Imperial Garden

The artist is regarded as one of the most important contemporary Ethiopian creators. He gained international recognition with the Grand Prix Léopold Sédar Senghor at the Dak'Art Biennale in 2022. His works have been presented in Milan, Paris, Accra, Berlin, Tokyo and Nairobi, among other cities. He currently represents Ethiopia at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, where he presents the exhibition “Shapes of Silence”.
