A new, international chapter of the TOP CHARITY Gala
On 10 September 2026, the TOP CHARITY Venice Experience will take place at the iconic Hotel Cipriani in Venice. This special edition opens a new, international chapter of the TOP CHARITY Gala — bringing together philanthropy, art, business and culture during one of the most important moments in the global cultural calendar: the Venice Film Festival.
Venice was chosen deliberately: a city where art, history, beauty and international influence have intertwined for centuries. Against this backdrop, TOP CHARITY creates an elegant and meaningful evening for guests from the worlds of business, culture, art and philanthropy.
The evening will combine a charitable purpose with fine dining, art, a fundraising auction and a refined ball celebration — an intimate, carefully crafted experience created with the utmost attention to atmosphere, hospitality and detail.
The project is led by Omenaa Mensah — philanthropist, entrepreneur, art collector and initiator of projects connecting Poland, Europe and Africa. Her Polish-Ghanaian heritage and long-standing commitment to education, culture and supporting children are at the heart of the TOP CHARITY mission.

What was born in Africa becomes, in Venice, a dialogue between continents.
The first act of this story began in Poland, inspired by Ghana and the royal Asante culture — intensity, origin, mission. The second unfolds in Venice, with a special tribute to Ethiopia, the story of the Queen of Sheba and the friendship of the Ethiopian royal family — elegance, breath, heritage.
Africa remains the thread connecting both chapters: a source of inspiration, identity and purpose.
An evening inspired by the story of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon
Makeda — the Queen of Sheba
Makeda, the Queen of Sheba, entered legend as a powerful and independent ruler — a woman of great wisdom and strength. According to the story, she set out to meet King Solomon not as a subject, but as an equal. Her caravan carried gold, precious stones and royal splendour — but above all, it symbolised the courage of a woman who came to enter into dialogue.
This story is the inspiration for the evening: feminine strength, elegance, heritage and the meeting of cultures.
The Legacy of Sheba
From the legendary meeting of Makeda and King Solomon, Menelik I was born — the first Emperor of Ethiopia. His legacy connects the event with Ethiopia's royal history and The Order of the Queen of Sheba Foundation — a symbolic bridge between history, culture and contemporary philanthropy.
